(Senior) Product Manager (all genders)

Helpling is a truly product-driven organization. As Senior Product Manager for our marketplace, you’ll play a crucial role in balancing the needs of both service providers and customers. By understanding both sides of the marketplace and their unique challenges, you’ll drive initiatives to enhance product offerings, increase retention, and maximize the lifetime value of both customers and providers. You’ll have full ownership over your product area and KPIs, and work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results.

You’ll lead initiatives that improve the user experience for both sides of the marketplace—customers seeking services and providers offering them. You’ll also focus on retention strategies, ensuring both parties stay engaged and satisfied within our ecosystem. Your leadership and strategic input will play a critical role in shaping the future of the marketplace.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Define the vision and drive the strategy for marketplace product areas, balancing both the provider and customer experiences.
  • Take full ownership of your KPIs, with a focus on retention and engagement metrics.
  • Conduct user research and data analysis to gain insights into both customer and provider needs and pain points.Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, and business intelligence teams to develop and ship new features for web & mobile apps that enhance marketplace efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to improve marketplace liquidity, match rates, and the overall quality of service.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize tasks that impact both short-term outcomes and long-term success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from marketing, operations, and BI to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
  • Monitor product performance through quantitative and qualitative feedback loops, adapting the roadmap based on these learnings.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally within a two-sided marketplace or platform.
  • Proven ability to drive retention strategies and improve user engagement through data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong experience in product development, with a deep understanding of agile and lean methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, and ability to lead projects that impact both customers and service providers.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; you are highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable product decisions.
  • Passionate about creating products that solve real-world problems for both service providers and customers.
